The China International Industry Expo will be held in the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai). With the theme of "innovation, intelligence and green", the Expo will focus on emerging technologies such as intelligent manufacturing and "Internet plus". To showcase the achievements of intelligent manufacturing, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has selected 48 demonstration enterprises in intelligent manufacturing, covering 48 different industry fields, and awarded them licenses to participate in the exhibition.

The reporter learned from the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission that 70 universities will participate in the Industry Expo this year, which is the highest number in history. Among them, 17 universities in Shanghai, 44 universities from other provinces and cities, 9 overseas universities, and universities with strong scientific and technological innovation capabilities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University will all be showcased in the university exhibition area of this Industry Expo. However, the core components of large fully automatic plasma cutting machines, such as high-power plasma power supplies, are almost monopolized by foreign countries. The" High Power CNC Fine Plasma Cutting Machine "project at Shanghai Jiao Tong University has solved this problem and has complete independent intellectual property rights, with 23 invention patents. Tongji University has launched a simple, stylish, and structurally designed small low-speed "micro electric vehicle" with a maximum speed of 70 kilometers per hour and a maximum range of over 100 kilometers, which is safer and more energy-efficient.

Ye Bo, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Development Center of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, told reporters that a major highlight of this industrial expo is that Shanghai University will exhibit the "Jinghai" unmanned measuring boat on site. The "Jinghai" unmanned boat has the same maneuverability as manually piloted speedboats. Various sensing, reconnaissance, measurement and other tasks can be conveniently loaded onto its system platform. Unmanned boats can enter waters such as islands, shallow waters, sunken ship areas, lakes, etc. that conventional survey ships cannot penetrate, and achieve autonomous navigation according to designated trajectories, avoiding obstacles encountered during navigation. At present, the vessel is responsible for tasks such as national marine surveying and mapping, environmental monitoring, oil exploration, scientific exploration, etc., most of which are beyond the range of human power and have the characteristics of high consumption and high danger. At the same time, unmanned vessels can provide more effective, efficient, and safe services for the Navy, Maritime Safety Administration, Marine Bureau, CNOOC Energy, as well as fisheries, environmental protection, and other departments.

Under the guidance of the national "Internet plus" action plan, the exhibition projects in the exhibition area of colleges and universities also show the concept of "Internet plus", such as the "Smart Chinese Medicine" project of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the "Aurora Vision System" project of North China Electric Power University, and the "Mobile Digital Medical System" of Peking University.

It is reported that this year, the total number of projects selected and declared by various universities and determined to participate in the exhibition is 652, including 60 major technological achievements that have won the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the the State Technological Innovation Award, the provincial and ministerial science and technology progress award, and the first prize of technology invention.
